Does anyone think there comes a point where music becomes too extreme to relate to, then a point after it where the music becomes extremely relatable?

I'm not really moved at all by any grindcore or death metal, but noisecore and a lot of free improv are really enjoyable to me.

There can be intense music that fights with progression, melodies, harmonies and with other instruments. Typically, this type of music is freely improvised with some parts practised or rehearsed.

Almost all grindcore and metal lack this, and it just sounds messy and not very good.

I think that might be the appeal of this album, honestly. It's so perfectly unhinged that it's hard for me not to be completely taken by it when I listen.
