How do you organize your digital music folders?

/Genre/Artist/Album? What if an artist worked in multiple genres? Do you split his works?

Just /Artist/Album? Isn't that a total mess?

I'm close to giving up on music because organizing it seems impossible.

Also with a folder of all the Coltrane shit I can find, a growing collection of Bach shit, and one for Velvet Underground bootlegs

Just use iTunes or something similar, and sort it through there. It's a lot cleaner than trying to keep track of the folders yourself

i just save it to whatever folder my web browser saves it on, then drag it to it's appropriate playlist in foobar, which i then save
