I don't often see Dylan discussed on /mu/ so I'd to hear you guys' opinions on him.
Favourite songs, why you love him, why you just don't get him, why you think he's influential etc.

He changed my life. I'm open to hearing people discuss an artist's merits but his music means more to me than any academic importance. After all he's done, I don't see why anyone would hesitate to rank him among the best of fine art. He has the same gift as Bach, Stravinsky, Robert Johnson. Visions of Johanna must be a contender for one of the best songs ever.
