the monologue at the beginning of f sharp beats any field recording on any album, however i still prefer skinny fists because of all of the different feels it covers from the hopeful beginning to the endless wonder at the enddont bend's opening track is a behemoth tho

I have to admit that Yanqui U.X.O. has been the biggest grower for me and I find myself returning to it a lot. All their releases are great, but there's something about the raw instrumentals of Yanqui that I find really alluring. F A ∞ is the one that people always call the most apocalyptic, but I think that Yanqui certainly doesn't underwhelm in the apocalypse sound department either.
