But none of the lyrics make sense and that album. They're just a vehicle for the melody.

dam bruh.... .. .

i think i was like 12 or 13 years old when i downloaded itunes for the first time and started digging through the store and found for emma, forever ago. i had a gift card someone gave to me as a birthday present so i impulsively purchased the album and that first listen basically changed my life. for emma, forever ago and blood bank ep basically made me who i am today.

they're pretty cryptic, kinda similar to james blake lyrics

You don't necessarily need completely comprehensive and thematically consistent and relative lyricism to wring meaning from an album. The whole atmosphere that gets set up by the production on that album, the vocal textures are more than enough. Its a really good album.

The first album I bought with my own money. It was so much better than the narrow view of music I'd had until that point, it convinced me to find more music that was as good as it. Even as I get into a huge variety of music, this remains one of my favorite albums. Every song on it is great.

Keaton Henson - Dear
You just have to listen to it, the pure emotion it brought out in me. Made me feel like shit, but it made me feel an uneasy sense of beauty

One of the most off the walls radical women I've ever cared for showed me this album. It's not only an important album to me because it makes me think of her, but it was the album that got me truly interested in music.

I was a pretty hardcore dadrocker before I heard this, a friend just threw it on the end of a cd he was burning for me. Opened my eye to the fact that music from the last ten years could actually be good, led me to getting into music and exploring a lot more genres. Plus I got a few other friends into it around the same time so it became the soundtrack of my high school years. Cried at least twice seeing them live last month.
