Nostalgia? It only came out 4 years ago. Pretty gr9 album though.

Nostalgia from an artistic perspective, the sound of bittersweet washout distant memories.

Ah, I get you, yeah I'd agree with that. Very feely album, probably juuust prefer it to Nocturne. I still think Golden Haze EP is his best work though.

100% agree with you, Golden Haze is by far the magnum opus, but i'm not sure whether my opinion on Gemini being the most emotionally charged is biased as i was listening to the album when i found out my grandmother had passed away.

>i was listening to the album when i found out my grandmother had passed away.
Sorry to hear that, that must have been super feely.
I think I'd agree with you on that too though, though I might also be biased as I listened to it most after I'd gone to uni and my gf was still at home and we'd only see each other once every two weeks and Bored Games has the line "where are you going / can I come with you / I don't feel right when you're not here"

Why are we the feeliest of boards? Regardless the album has some beautiful lyrics which no doubt make it a very comforting album.

Listen to his first release instead.

I remember early downloads floating around came with a text file for a suicide hotline number.

I don't know, Keaton Henson's a one-trick pony and he exhausted that trick on his first release. Everything after, including his transparent modern classical thing from this year, is post-1980 Paul McCartney level tripe.

I would go with Dear...but to each their own.

It's atmospheric doom metal, friend.

Get high and listen to it, you'll be overwhelmed by all different sorts of emotion, ranging from anger, regret, sorrow, grief, self-pity, and so forth.

Carissa's Wierd - Songs About Leaving
S - Sadstyle
Keaton Henson - Dear...
Bright Eyes - Fevers and Mirrors
Giles Corey - Self-Titled
Have A Nice Life - Deathconsciousness
Xiu Xiu - Knife Play
The Saddest Landscape - All Is Apologized For. All Is Forgiven.

Variety of genres, but those 8 should pretty much do you in.
