What's your ratings distribution like, /mu/?Guess favorite genre or whatever
>>48651780I generally don't bother rating music because I'll find that I may immensely enjoy an album I previously didn't like if I listen to it in a different context, setting, or mood. There are albums that grow on me, and there are albums I used to love and barely listen to anymore.
>>48651859so is your system just "yes/no"?Anyways, this is mine. OP, you listen to a lot of stuff you don't enjoy. Why?
>>48651985I get rec'd things, so I'll try it out.
Not that many albums actually rated.
>>48654314why not
>>48654334I feel like I need to listen to an album at least two or three times before rating it, and I haven't had headphones since my last ones broke.
>>48654395my condolences friend
>>48654314>tfw too lazy to go through the other half of your librarydoing 500 albums took me like 3 or 4 hours too>>48652040>>48653256these niggas know how to rate

>>48651780nice>>48654777good
I know my average is way too high, but it goes well for me so it doesn't really bother me.
>>48655167list your 1s
>>48655167i don't know how all these people listen to so much music they don't like
>three weeks behind on RYM>probably listened to 150 albums in that time>no motivation to catch up
>>48655251Me neither. The music I listen to I all like a lot. I can't stand to listen to something I don't find interesting, which is a lot of music.
>>48655296>150 albums>3 weeksdude, you need to slow the fuck down and appreciate things
>>48655336I meant to put 50, my bad.

The more negative opinions you have the more chance of being a metalhead on RYM
>>48655316exactly. i'll skim through once to get an idea of the aesthetic of the music and then give it a full listening. if i don't like anything by the time i'm halfway through, i'll just set it aside and not even rate it. it's very rare i listen to an album i don't like all the way through multiple times, but the albums i've done that for i've ended up liking
I know that no one cares, but: r8 or whatever
>>48655523certainly wasn't true in my case
I'm a pretty positive person.
we turning this into a rym threadlets be palshttps://rateyourmusic.com/~iwasnvrurbf
>>48655205I can only hope that no one takes these serious.>>48655251Sometimes I encounter an album I don't like in a genre that I like, or perhaps when I try something new I find something I don't like. Can't really say that I actively look further into things I don't like.
I only rate albums that I had on my library, which I mostly like them. Albums that are negative are usually recent albums that I listened and didn't like.
music is good
