Rap / hip-hop is a shit genre barely able to even be called music. Fucking speaking rhythmically takes less skill than singing. Here's why: singing not only requires rhythmic enunciation but also requires special attention to pitch. Fuck rappers for even thinking they're talented at something.

Black Milk can drum, he drums live on his own albums.Also closely affiliated to Hip-Hop: Dwele, plays the horn amazingly. J Dilla and Madlib have both rapped as well, they are both multi-instrumentalists. I bet there are far more, but they mostly are producers.

He's not great, but Mac Miller makes all the beats to his songs (except for the couple he got Earl and FlyLo did) and records the guitars and pianos, and plays guitar and keys on tour while rapping and singing, so that's kinda cool. He's completely self taught, which is interesting. There's a funny video on YouTube of him noodling on 'House of the Rising Sun' for like ten minutes on piano
