ITT: Moments in songs that mean a lot to you emotionally, whether because they feel like they express something about you succinctly

>Even in my best condition, counting all the superstition
>I am riding all alone
>I am running all alone

>> No.47935020

>the older I get the more articulate I am at whining

> how strange it is to be anything at all

That should read
>Whether they express something about you succinctly or simply make you feel a great swell of emotion, whatever that emotion may be

>> No.47935115

>Although you hit me hard I come back

For some reason I really connect with the brevity of the Circulatory System song The Breathing Universe.

Not a beta so I don't have excessively emotional responses to music anymore

Closest I get is nice moments of reflection to instrumental music
That's about as far as it goes

>Not a beta so I don't have excessively emotional responses to music anymore
That's not not-beta, that's jaded.

The end of Two-Headed Boy when he sings:

>I will take you and leave you alone

Gives me feels everytime

Call me a cynical fuck then
My emotional response is sunshine, pizza and pop punk

or dancing to untz untz untz and smiling
I dunno man.

Damn, I'm exactly the same man (except maybe surf pop instead of pop punk). I always find it weird when people talk about the intense feels they get from some song and I listen to it and usually get nothing. But then put me in the club with some techno bangers and I'll absolutely love it.

Oh, actually having a nice realisation to Solar Fields that I'm not an atheist and never will be was a good feel once.

Oh that's cool, think we're just pretty content with life really.
There's a time and a place for 'feels' don't get me wrong but it's uncommon.

Exactly. I have friends, a qtgf, uni's going alright. I'm not athiest either, I'm Christian myself, maybe that has something to do with it? What about you?
>There's a time and a place for 'feels' don't get me wrong but it's uncommon
Exactly.

Agnostic, but not really. Basically let's just say that there's a purpose for everyone on this planet and we just have to play out our role... We can't really control what we're doing but we can try our best.. "God can only be experienced through the nature of the universe..." is a good way of putting it for me. There's always moments of luck and chance where I think, "yeah, something we can't comprehend is out there."

I've taken LSD/Mushrooms so that probably explains my beliefs.. Recently took 2cb which pretty much confirmed that thought-process and that I should just continue thinking that I'm pretty cool no matter what.

I don't think about my beliefs as much as much as I used to (borderline spiritualist), but then that spiritualism was pretty much to make up for my own insecurities which - surprise surprise, I don't really have anymore. And I used to be heavily insecure. For whatever reason.

But yeah, friends, good job, not had a qtgf for a while, but it doesn't bring me down. It'll work itself out in time.

Didn't think I'd get deep on /mu/ but there you go.

That's cool man. A lot of people, especially on 4chan, put too much emphasis on having a gf, like it's impossible to be happy without one, but that's just silly. I'm sure you'll find her one day anyway, so yeah, there's no need to worry.

What bleeps do you like btw?

I like a lot of ambient/dub techno, and trance (oldschool pre-commercial trance but I like it all anyway, psytrance stuff as well) but also UK Bass and future garage/purple sound, and pretty much all forms of drum and bass, pretty much anything floats my boat really but I've got more of a soft spot for the minimal side of electronic.

I'm going to bed now!!

OP here; there was something quite profoundly joyous and beautiful in what happened there. Two strangers finding a connection, that's beautiful, isn't it?

I wish we could have more moments like that on here.

Personal meaning, anon; it doesn't have to be general to others, just songs and moments in them that are close to your heart, for whatever reason.
