Grateful Dead is the GOAT psychedelic band.The 13th Floor Elevators, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Pink Floyd, and Jimi Hendrix are essentials.The Black Angels are great. The Flaming Lips are probably the best modern psych act.Mercury Rev, My Bloody Valentine and a lot of those shoegaze acts could also be considered psych as well
