where'd you find that shitty opinion, even I don't like the album but saying it sound like Turn on the Bright Lights just because it's post-punk is pretty stupid.

>> No.47895065 [DELETED]

I'm posting my favorite albums of each decade since the 60's:

60's: Pet Sounds
70's: Close to the Edge
80's: The Velocity of Love
90's: Yerself Is Steam
00's: Feels
10's: Have One On Me

I'll also tell you this, "Have One On Me" is my least favorite album on here.

The songwriting and lyricism, mainly.
But the burden of proof isn't on me to explain why it's good. He needs to explain why it's bad (which I doubt he's capable of—assuming he's even serious and not just trying to provoke a reaction).

I figured it was just a "favorite from this decade" thread (missed the "if" in the main post)

it's pretty dumb to assume people are dadrockers if their favorite albums are older, just as it's the same to assume you're an internet kid if your favorite album is newer

a lot of people have multiple favorite albums that span over many years, it's not like the number one pick determines your entire taste

it's pretty lame to judge people on their favorite albums anyway, it's even more odd to judge them on when that particular album came out
