I have a soft spot for it's bluesy sound. Theres something joyous and free about that album which was squashed out on TMR as well. I prefer the subtler humor on Safe as Milk to the, erm, humor on TMR. TMR's alright, it just meanders too much, the bass is too erratic for my liking and the guitar tone grates on me. There are some definite standouts though, Veteran Days Poppy, Hair Pie: Bake 1 and a couple other I go back too sometimes.
>>47568499
I'm glad to be getting anything similar at all. I look forward to these albums. I'm still enjoying the first one you linked. Thanks a shit ton for this dude.

It's okay then. What about Doc at the Radar Station? If you haven't listened to it, you should as soon as possible. It feels very raw, but is not as crazy as TMR.

They definitely don't get the praise they deserve on here. Probably ii, v and vii. Part of what I love about that record is how sprawling it is and how hard it's to choose favorites. It really feels like your in a room with a group of supremely talented musicians playing one long jam session. I love anything freak/psychedelic/prog folk so visitations are the perfect band for me. I'm gonna go sleep in a second or I wont be able to get up tomorow. What are you standouts from that album before I go?

everything from iv onward just gets better and better for me, and i totally agree with you on long jam session part. i went to anco - campfire songs for that reason but as soon as i heard this record i haven't gone back to that, in fact my search for more folk (aside from something similar to their untitled) pretty much ended there. goodnight anon

Yeah, Campfire Songs is a good album but Untitled blows it out the water. It's funny cause I was just thinking that first album you linked me to reminded me a lot of Hollinndagain. Anyway, I'm of now, goodnight all.
