I can't get into this at all. I've tried on about five separate occasions. I love it until the screaming starts. Even trying to read the lyrics online while listening was just bad. The lyrics make no coherent theme or lesson from the song. I do enjoy Midwestern Emo, but this album is just shoegaze with someone screaming over it. Is there something wrong with me /mu/?

Think of the vocals as another layer of instrumentation. The lyrics don't have much influence over the quality of the music.
