>>46592999 I can dig "Saturday's Shirt" quite a bit. I'm not a big fan of those synths on "The War." But I can dig the overall almost bluesy vibe coming off.. It's subtle with the lead guitar riffs and harmonica and shit. Not bluesy is the only I could put it; not cheesy or off-putting or anything.
>>46593216 I gotta say that I dig your production work more so than your rapping. The flow on the beginning of "Lord, Bless" didn't really do it for me, but the beat is on point. I think the thing that gets me is that I feel like you *could* make it more of an on-beat flow, but you chose not to for the sake of just being a bit different. Just my 2 cents
>>46593264 Some good rainy day music for sure. Your voice is super quiet on some of the recordings and, while it does help blending with your guitar work, I felt myself wanting it to be more prominent. For example, in "Riverside" I just wanted to hear more of your voice; I can't even hear you in the Velvet Underground cover. Let your acoustic pieces show off your guitar work (as they do so well). Also, what's up with a lot of musicians from the UK losing their accent when they sing? That's always strange to me. My favorite of what I heard was probably "Cliffside."
>>46593646 I expected something completely different. I wouldn't say just "chill" and "hard" when describing. I didn't really know what to expect, but whatever. Kinda reminds me of something Pouya would spit over. The ending was my favorite part, and not in the fucking dick "glad it's over" kinda way. 2:55 to the end served as a nice climax to end on. |
