Not at home now, but I have a Bang & Olufsen Beogram RX 2 that used to my dad's.
Don't wanna
>>46470213TGM? What pressing?i gots salmon
Rega RP 6
>>46470241Crystal orange 2010 press
>>46470315Damn, sounds nice.Fantastic album either way.
>>46469937I'm not at home, only have this picit's a Technics SLB200
I dunno. Like a crosley or whatever.
>>46469937>record is transparent>isn't Faust
Technics SL-7. Got 2 of them, this one with Grado Gold-1 element, grado pre-amp, and grado headphone amp.
>>46470403It's Cibo Matto
>>46469937got the same one
>>46470561hotel valentine?
>>46470639Indeed
it's a technics 1200, everybody knows what that looks like
>>46470657i've been meaning to pick that up, didn't know it was clear.
>>46470981love the Moog slipmat
>>46470129>teen-teir ideals
>>46470981first 1000 were cream+clear splithttp://instagram.com/p/ibxZgLMoTy/
>>46470684>tfw my phone camera doesn't make my similar table look as nice
>>46471105what album is that?
>>46470314you actually bought that nin box set?
>>46471155Happiness by Fridge
>>46471100
im a poor boy
>>46471155And apparently the last track on the album loves to skip, which is disappointing
my brother has one of those fuckers in a cheap plastic carrying case, the kind only dumb tumblrites would show off.
Numark TT1625Numark DM1002MKII Mixerand a Behringer Xenyx 1202FX that isn't really hooked up to shit as of right now.
>>46471489One of these?
>>46471576worse. it looked like fisher price.
>>46471576why does it have a crossfader?
One of these. Don't really know if it's good or not, inherited from my dad.How fucked am I /mu/?
Does anybody have a U-Turn Orbit and if so would you suggest it as a decent entry level turntable? I have a Crosley that I acknowledge is a horrid, record damaging piece of shit with awful built-in speakers, but I bought it when I was 17 and didn't know any better and feel guilty every time I play something on it.
>>46471676like this?
>>46471805does it have a belt underneath the plate?
>>46471715probably pitch control<rega p3/24>>46471805eh its not the best but at least its not tearing up your records like a crosley or some similar piece of shit
>>46471813It'd be a major step up from the crosley and has a counterweight and half decent entry level cart so it's a whole lot less likely to damage your records but I don't know anything about the sound quality.
>>46471849It does, that good or bad? I actually rarely use turtables.
>>46471903its a good thing, cheap direct drive systems are terrible
>>46471865photo of your full setup please?
>>46471893Yeah, I'm not looking to totally break the bank. I'm not some super-crazy audiophile (sub-bar computer speakers and some Sennheiser HD280 Pros are my primary listening devices), I just enjoy collecting vinyl and would like to upgrade to something that isn't destroying my collection. Basically I'm a casualfag with enough sense to at least know my current set-up is a fucking terrible.
>>46471903belts are a pain in the ass, but at least you have a counter weight
kenwood kd-1600 mk IIin better condition than this one
>>46471250haha thats what I thought happened. They fucked up the first thousand and decided to call it "limited edition"
>>46471939the Rega + Teac VRDS9/Cambridge DAC3 cd, NVA P50 pre & A40 monos, Focal 807 spk
>>46471970I'd go for it man. I saw the kickstarter videos and could tell that the guys were passionate about making a decent entry level turntable and obviously knew the engineering ins-and-outs.Here's a review that's very favourable:http://www.analogplanet.com/content/u-turn%E2%80%99s-remarkable-179-orbit-turntable-crosley-killer
>>46472059>those cds>that roomthe only thing that kills it for me is the cat and the chairs. get a sofa and a dog
>>46472112>cat>kills it for memax plebe
>>46471970It looks pretty much identical in every important regard to the ProJect Essential which is a decent deck, Id say it was probably a good choice but as with all decks around that price it comes with a shit cartridge which you should change asap imo>>46472112I only moved in a couple of months ago and the sofa I want is out of stock but I'll be getting one as soon as I can
in case anyone is looking for vinyl storage, recently found out these book shelves at ikea fit records perfectly.
>>46472221are they the new Expedit?
Technics Quartz SL - 7 direct drive cartridge - ortofon TM 14U Amp- Kenwood KA 894 I don't know what model but the speakers are Kenwood
Rega RP1
Pioneer PL-2. I inherited it from my dad. (The one in the picture isn't mine.) I put an Audio-Technica cartridge on it and it sounds good to me.
>>46469937>>46470602>Buying an Audio Technica turntable>EverI'd post my face but I'd rather post my Dual
>>46473358What is wrong with Audio Technica?
>>46471436Hey I had that turntable. Got a Rega now but it's cute to see someone else with it. It wasn't awful.
Audio-Technica-AT-LP120-USB>inb4 i get called plastic fantastic>the usb-capability is practical for my music production>leave me alone>filename
>>46472221this is common knowledge
>>46474317wtf how have i missed this
>>46474336>>46474317they used to be called expedits tho not kallaxesidk what the difference is it looks the same to me
>>46474284>Gets reamed by Japs peddling overpriced Chink shit and defends it>RSD goon to boot
>>46474394from what i heard they discontinued the expedits and replaced them with the kallaxes, which are the same but with rounded corners or something
>>46472221iirc ikea stopped producing them recently, they made a similar version that looks worse thoughnot my pic but I can't be arsed taking one. It's from 1973 iirc, my dad had it alongside a Marantz 1070 amp <3
>>46474433dammit I wanted another expeditnow if I have to get a kallax it wont match
>>46474477i'm sure there's still plenty of stock left in stores, i grabbed one a couple weeks ago
>>46474403so what are you using loved, patrician, overlord?
>>46470213hey man have u opened up ur sennheisers & did the foam trick...if you or ANYONE else here has, does it actually improve ur headphones quality at all???
just cleaned up today.I am aware I need a space to get the speakers elsewhere but it's what I can work with atm.
>>46474477I got a cheaper unit just the same as an Expedit from a smaller chain furniture store. Look around, I'm sure there would be alternatives out there.
>>46469937Is this a recommendable turntable? I actually was considering this one.
A bit messy but, Gemini XL-DD20
>>46475283The LP60 isn't recommended at all. You want to be looking at the LP120 minimum, or a Pro-Ject Debut III/Debut Carbon or a Rega RP1.
How do I into vinyl/turntables? what would be best for beginners?
>>46470129you talking about the turntable or the album? Lol
>>46475955One of these >>46475712, plus a decent amp and speakers.Check out the turntable guides:http://4chanmusic.wikia.com/wiki/File:Turntable1.jpghttp://4chanmusic.wikia.com/wiki/File:Turntable2.jpghttp://4chanmusic.wikia.com/wiki/File:1334096430415.jpg
>>46474977Sorry late reply and all.Yeah I did. It does work enough to be noticeable but don't expect some sort of massive improvement.
been collecting for a bit more than a year but just kind of inherited this record player. not sure how to into turntables.

>>46477426I've got Diamond 9s, incredibly good speakers for the price. I'll probably upgrade to the 10.1s in the near future.
bumping for turntables
I got a Pro-Ject Essential II. Sounds good listening to records with AKG headphones.
:^)
>>46472059seems like a nice placecongrats
