>Soundcloud full of tons of shit. Blues, jazz, comedy, half hour piano instrumentals, acoustic hip hop covers, text to music threads from /b/, random requests, 700+ tracks.
>Currently uploading a variety of cartoon theme songs I recorded while quite drunk and high late last night.
>>46337240 Major Lazer is very catchy. A thumpy electronica for my taste but I think you were going for that, so no criticism. Keep it up!
>>46337285 You are God's gift to music. Praise the based lord. I'm gonna go give myself 15 lashings for having the audacity to try to talk to you.
>>46337355 >glitch trap noisewall tronica I usually don't like any of those things individually, but they are pretty neat when combined.
I really just like the synth chord arpeggios you had goin at first. How do you do the instrumentation? Bass line that comes in is dope. Good shit overall, keep it up.
>>46337420 Do you do all the instrumentation on a keyboard?
Pretty neat stuff. The distorted turn in They Imitated Humanity at ~2:45 was unexpected in the best way.
>>46338598 I liked it from the beginning. Beat seems very playful but the spacey instrumentation over it gives it a sort of ominous vibe. That clavi funk turn at ~1:20 that comes in and out throughout the track is dope.
Do you do all the instrumentation on keyboard?
>>46338580 I'm biased against that 808 drum sound but the little bits you've got up are nice. Have a great sense of openness/emptyness to em that seems to be missing in beats lately. They get packed full of rhythmic nuance at the cost of musicality. If you had really good drum samples I'd be in love.
>>46338497 >>instrumental hip-hop, jazzy stuff
That is my favorite kind of hip-hop stuff.
I like what you're doing. Looking forward to the album. Your track reminded me of this for some reason: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8BWBn26bX0 |

>>46338438 It's all so dirty. I like the songs, but your rhythm guitarist and drummer struggle staying in the pocket. It'll tighten up with practice and I know these are demos, so I'm looking forward to it all getting polished up.
Joseph's Pep Talk is my favorite tune.
>>46338337 The vocal samples layered with the bells made me grin the whole time. I don't really like those trappy 808 drum sounds but at lease you've got a good sense of rhyhtm. Would be nice to see the vocals have more melodic/harmonic movement instead of just octave pitch shifts, but its still nice. Keep it up man.
>>46338216 White people.
Good feelin sloppy folk though, I can dig it. Keep on keepin on, you acoustic jamming tumbleweeds of modernity.
To The Boy at the Orchestra is my favorite.
>>46338193 I didn't like a single thing about that track. It's like German T-Pain spoof music.
>>46338159 I'm followin you for that shit.
Do you use samples or do the instrumentation yourself?
Reminds me of the jazzier J dilla shit. I love it. Keep making it or I will/ find you and kick you in the shins like really hard.
>>46338136 Orchestral instrumentation is nice, drums ruin it for me.
>>46338083 Beats not bad. Rap tone is not good to me. The flow, timing, and articulation are mostly solid, but the tone just kills it for me.
>>46338060 You're good at what you do. Keep it up.
Those dissonant chords you hit. God damn. How long ya been playin guitar?
>>46338058 Fascinating progression. Assume you use a keyboard for the instrumentation? How long ya been playin?
>>46338016 Cinematic music is very cinematic. Horror track's development is slow and could fit perfectly in the right context of a game. Guitar fiddling is very good. You're a talented dude. Keep doin what ya do.
>>46338000 How long ya been playin keys?
Loved Return Trip. Didn't love Shed Skin. |
