Not that guy, but art in pornography would basically refer to the way a film approaches its depiction of sex. Obviously, the goal is to make it look erotic, but like regular film, there are several ways to accent the action via lighting, editing, story, narrative, set design, costumes, make up, music, etc etc. Good porn will often strive to introduce a new fetish or at least experiment with the possibilities of an existing fetish. I cite "artistic porn films" such as Deep Throat, Behind the Green Door, Night Dreams, the pink film genre, The Beast, and even early sexploitation films by people like Russ Meyer as my sources.
