>>44688837Beards wives and denim is pretty good but tame impala are better.
>this album is great!>I just got into psychedelic music
>>44688837>>44688915I feel like pond are more straightfoward rock with verses and choruses and whatnot, whereas tame impala is a lot more loose structurally.
>More like this?If you can't find anything else like this on your own, you are pathetic. >Are pond any good?I don't know, why don't you fucking listen for yourself. holy pleb...

The Spoils of War, Tages, 13th Floor Elevators, the list goes on :^)
honestly i hated lonerism. i only liked their debut, and only certain songs. they REALLY nailed their vibe. they managed to sound like John Lennon, while making White Album-era psychedelic rock, and it just somehow worked.even then, sometimes the choruses were a bit much, but it was really fantastic. their sound was their own it was just so awesome that it happened to sound like an extension of the beatles, that the beatles themselves never could explore (i.e. modern studio tech)
Eh. I can't say I hate them, but I'm just tired of that late 60s psychedlic rock sound. I think it's been done to death. And the Beatles vocals get old.I like neopsychedelia that does something new and explores new sounds.

Beard Wives Denim is a pretty solid 8.5/10, would recommend.
>>44689536You are honestly the worst trip on this board, I don't know why you aren't in the same league as Tyler and Crazyaga. Why don't you go back to trickshotting and editing with your other underage friends?
>>44689602whatlonerism and innerspeaker could probably be on the same album
>>44688934It's more pop than psychedelic, and thinking it is great doesn't mean you just got into any style of music. It's just a good pop album with a psychedelic sound to it.
>>44688934well... yeah.
>>44688837OP if you respond to this post I'll give you exactly what you want, but I hate having my time wasted. So let me know you're here and I'll drop the crazy knowledge on you.
>>44689326it's pretty much the opposite, Pond is way more "experimental" and "psychedelic" than Tame Impalahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVVUQAi6rkkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ixUzgYq6n0
>>44691248surely nobody else is interested in the subject. just op.fuck you m8 share your knowledge
>>44691248I'm still here mate what are you going to bequeath unto us?
>>44691303There are two inherent kinds of 'psychedelic' listeners, those whom aim to listen to 'psychedelic' music b/c it is essentially a more extreme form of rock, especially concerning music that was from the 60s. Here's an example of a 'psychedelic' song that serves more purpose as a rock numberhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADUZ5wK0FEUWhereas someone interested in the psychedelic properties themselves might find themselves listening to something like this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVt-XxYLg4EFirst and foremost then, which is it you really want?
>>44691415Well i was more meaning the first kind essentially but that second track is awesome too.
>>44691253Not really. They're pretty basic songs, just with a load of studio wankery stuck on top.
