I have a suggestion, buy a bass. Use distortion.Don't waste your money on a ex trended range guitar you aren't going to use to its fullest potential. Heck, layer your bass with a six string to cover the range.

I don't mind some of the more proggy bands, or the few grindy bands like oceano, but 95% of the genre really fucking sucks.
