I need to solder some shit before I can use them again, though. Right now I'm using some shitty buds while I'm at home for break.I like them. Pretty neutral sound, massive sound stage, and inexpensive. Pretty alright isolation for semi-open headphones, too.
This is my first any only pair of headphones, I can't really compare them to anything but I think these are great.

Denon AH-D310 HeadphonesSuper inexpensive and sound fantastic. I like them better than most $100+ headphones I've had in the past. Apparently they're really fragile but I've had mine for over a year and have had no problems at all. Really comfortable too.

i was surprised how great these arei was looking for durable, portable, and cheap, and i got excellent, detailed highs and mids and super punchy bassplus the japanese guy i bought them off of on ebay was the sweetest man everwould recommend
Poor college sophomore here,I bought these as an early christmas present after a bit of research and I absolutely love them so far. I'm not too knowledgeable about headphones yet, but I think these have pretty good balance and a nice warm tone. Were these a good purchase for my first pair of serious headphones? Clarity is overall good, and soundstage is decent for a closed headphone. I prefer the sound of my Porta Pros over the Sony most of the time, but the XB500 makes a solid gaming headphone.

I got some ath m50s on black friday for 100, now that they've had about 60 hours of break in time they're amazing. No sound leaks and solid construction.

Got the M50's in red for Christmas. Sound quality is pretty good. Pretty much an all around headphone for me. Cant handle classical very well though, sound stage is a bit lacking.
m50s here alsothey're not perfect but they are nearly indestructable and that's a plus (broken 2 pairs of hd595s cause they're made of cheapass materials)
