Anyone else a fan of Kommunizm?
I'm not even Russian
Коммунизм - Хроника пикирующего бомбардировщика
>Experimental, Noise Rock , Musique concrète, Folk, Post-Punk
At the tail end of the cold war, long time russian experimentalists, fighting against the oppresive russian media police by releasing abrasive noisey music that speak the truth and grim reality of Russia, and other dark stuff in general come out with their final, and possibly best album, that takes their familiar sound, and pushes it to a limit that actually isnt that far out beyond their reach
this last effort of theirs is possibly the most grim and dark in imagery and themes (maybe its not as dark as i think, im shit at russian), and musically their most cohesive and diverse, with music ranging from folk, to early plunderphonics, more in the style of sound collage, and psychedelic throwback sounds from the 60s, but just because they wanted to be diverse didnt stop them from being Communism, the noise rock/post-punk outfit, full of young loud angry Russians. But in a the same way they mix their styles together, they also manage to make it all flow well into a possible concept album (again i dont know much russian)
get this, them Russians are amazing at experimental rock albums
