oh boy that's really hard to explain to someone who doesn't know the language at all and i didn't study linguistics or anything so take this with a grain of salt.
but to put it simple, it's just that a lot of the words in a sentence change in terms of spelling (and often in drastic ways) and order if you change the tense for example. so there's a shit-ton of room to fuck up compared to most other languages, if you don't know exactly what you are doing. but it's also a very precise language that way, where you can be very specific about what you're tryin to get across.
