Okay then. I notice you're going through an anti-intellectual phase. Obviously, you're underage and are starting to question authority and regard your opinion as fact. We all go throught that, dont worry. However, i wish to point out that you are yet to indicate anything that might be wrong with TMV except with, and i quote, "its entry-level shit". I expect you to reply with "u first", so i will. Their music is, for the most part, complex. Many if their compositions rely on interplay between the instruments involved. The jazz influence is blantant in many tracks in where Omar and other band members bounce solos from each other, filling tracks with them. Their composition are usually unique, nothing truly sounds like it. Omar has a very quirky and syncopated guitar technique that can be found all over Francis The Mute. Cedric has always been an excentric vocalist and lyricist. Their lyrics are cryptic and heavily showered with metaphors. They were rather innovative completely marrying latin jazz, and post-hardcore with proggressive rock. Their albums brought prog up-to-date.
