That's actually fascinating to me. It definitely deserves another couple listens, but my first impression of TY was it seemed less gritty and heartfelt than his previous work. I dunno

My favorite album of his to date is get lonely. His lyricism is simple understandable but well written, and he's getting at creating an image in your mind with words. He makes it easy to empathize with him. With that being said, his newer works have been a bit disappointing for me. Transcendental Youth was honestly subpar compared to his other albums.

Full Force Galesburg is my favorite album by a considerable margin

Hands down my favorite artist. I would say my favorite album is probably Nothing for Juice, but most of my favorite songs are non-album songs (Alpha Omega, Going to Port Washington, You Were Cool, Going to Palestine, etc.). My least favorite album is probably Get Lonely, or maybe WSABH or TLotWtC I hate to be one of the idiots who say this, but I really like the pre-Tallahassee tMG much more than Tallahassee on. Also, since I have this already made up, I may as well paste it in here and maybe facilitate some discussion:
