I need some help. I'm getting married this Friday and I need a song for the mother/son dance. It's been left up to me to pick the song since my mom and I have no crossover taste in music. I listen to a lot of post rock (Gybe, God is an astronaut, explosions in the sky) 90's emo (sunny day, Texas is the reason, American football) indie folk (iron and wine, sun kil moon) other favorites are avalanches, aphex twin, mf doom, afghan whigs, brand new

I'm having a hard time finding a song that's appreciate for a mother and son to dance too that isn't cheesy and over done.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated otherwise it's probably going to be picture in a frame by Tom waits which I'm not crazy about

I'd actually recommend Slow Dance from EitS. You won't get a post-rock song with lyrics about mommy, deal with it. Something actually danceable is your best bet.
