i bought one about 6 years ago from songbirdocarina.com

it was in tune, so that's good, and im pretty sure they'll let you replace it if it isn't

i bought a few of them when i was 12 but i never learned to play them (i was 12 and i had a very short attention span). songbird ocarinas are good, i would start from there

The six-hole is fun as hell. I bought mine from songbird, it was about $20, pretty high pitched but overall good fun. The fingerings are pretty easy to learn.

Never played a twelve hole, although I gather the fingerings are more straightforward.

I have a songbird ocarina! The one from ocarina of time with a triforce on it. Got it when I was 14! Oh to be young again! Its so fun! I'll try dig it out now, could post pics. Theres a handy little tab style song book in it and its very easy to play.
