He said on stage that merch prices were negotiable because it was the end of the tour and they wanted to offload as much as possible, so I emptied my wallet, put the contents on the table and asked what i could get for £8.20. He said this would be "more bang for [my] buck", plus its a release i haven't listened to properly yet so I got it. Bit of a bargain I think

Felt a bit embarrassed but didn't want to pass up the opportunity.

Also, assuming you're going to a small venue, you can either a) get there early and claim a spot right up against the stage, and prop the record between the edge of the stage and your feet, or b) go out to your car once the show ends, get the record, and bring it back in with you.

Also, if it's a record you already own, always leave the actual records at home and just bring the sleeve in a cardboard mailer. Speaking from experience here.

This was from the recording of their live album Absolute Pleasure. One of the best shows I've ever been to.

I tried to take a picture, but the marks won't show up on camera. I went to see Andrew Jackson Jihad last year, and I bought Can't Maintain on vinyl. It had a message scratched with an x-acto knife or something on the blank inner radius of the record.

Last night I saw Baroness in Atlanta. Best show I've been to yet by far. Pete and the two new guys were hanging around the theater after the show, so I bought this poster and got them all to sign it. They told us John Baizley would not be coming out, which I was cool with because he was so good on stage, he must have been exhausted.

Because my friends have been to more shows and I, they knew to stick around and wait outside just for the chance to meet John. They've met dudes from The Sword, Red Fang, Black Tusk, Mastodon (multiple times), and one of them is actually very good friends with on of Monstro's members.

Anyways, we watched as the equipment and merchandise was loaded up onto the bus trailer (and missed several opportunities to steal boxes of $50 posters and shirts/hoodies (damn morals)) and finally John walked out and got on the bus without turning his head.

He then came off the bus, and greeted each one of us, asked our names individually, and spoke with us. He was such a nice guy, and quite a hero for me artistically. He signed right on her thigh (pic related).
