>>32881659Hey anon? How bout you get down a suck my cock.
>>32881322It is actually a fantastic track, I feel.
>>32881365everything after this album sounded like shit tho
>>32881729But that album has Monster and that Chris Rock part on it...
>>32881786>Monster>badI'm not even that guy and I don't think its a perfect album but monster is an amazing track anon
(◡‿◡✿)
>>32881866>>32881786When you've heard the worst of her, Nicki Minaj on Monster is her best performance on a song.
ITT: Plebs
Lots of bad albums in this thread.
>>32881895Actually her performance on Dark Fantasy is better. I've never heard Minaj sing that good and have such a good accent.
>>32882015triangle is near perfect, but this album right here.
>>32882015>>32882026This is better than both of those combined
>>32882015>>32882026>>32882068Complete Best = GAME >>>> Triangle > JPN
>>32882083Plen
>>32881935She doesn't sing on Dark Fantasy though
>>32882068>>32882083Im tied between these two
>>32882068>>32882083>>32882104>tfw no one will never love JPN as much as I do
>>32882142yeah because its mediocre
>>32882142JPN has good Single songs like Fushizen na Girl, Spice, Kasuka na Kaori and 575 but, it has the most medicore album-only songs Kokoro no Sports/My Color/Toki no Hari/Have a Stroll when you compare them to GAME or even Triangle's album songs.>mfw plebs actually like JPN's album mixesI didn't think they could make Laser Beam/Glitter more bland than they actually did with those tracks.
>>32882100If you were to simply dislodge that stick from your anus, people would like you a lot more.
>>32881786Spirit of Eden is even better imo.
JPN really is the best of all perfumes albums. anon what you doing
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3h6pyZi88w
>>32882177strange, because i think JPN is very consistent album with such varied collection of songs which blend very well together. also the sound is much more mature than in their older albums which separates JPN from the rest.
>>32882310agreed, Have a Stroll especially. JPN is Perfume / Yasutaka Nakata's apex
>>32882286>>32882340Plebs
>>32882310>JPN>ConsistentHow? I dislike JPN because it feels like a jumbled Complete Best Vol. 2 with every single after One Room Disco and it's B-Side shoved into one album with a few mediocre songs thrown in.You just can't compare Kokoro no Sports or Have a Stroll to Secret Secret or Night Flight.>>32882340GAME was his zenith. GAME has absolutely perfect pacing and the album songs are the strongest of the 3 albums Complete Best only has Perfect Star Perfect Style as its album song but it's amazing. Also what's the deal with wanting them to sound "mature"? They're an electropop trio and their most electropoppish sound was from 2005-2008.
>>32881163>>32881198>>32881880>>32882264These so much.
>>32882366wow you called use plebs NICE ONE M8>>32882386i don't even know how can refer to JPN as 'complete best vol 2' because like i said they really have changed their sound from those days. i really see as the rest of their discography as a mass of good songs, but nothing amazing.>Also what's the deal with wanting them to sound "mature"? They're an electropop trio and their most electropoppish sound was from 2005-2008.it fits their image better as they've grown themselves too. the old songs were quite too girly at times imo.
idgaf
IF YOU ONLY KNEW WHITE BOYSWHO LOOKED AT BLACK OR PUERTO RICAN PORNOBECAUSE THEY WANT SOMETHING THAT THEIR DAD DONT GOT
>>32882386I've been a perfume fan for 7 years and I can tell you that JPN is just miles ahead of GAME in terms of Perume's strongest album and creative constructiveness, It's where Nakata was working with one of the top post-techno synth producers takeshima nashihara, and with JPN, Perfume really came into their own, Nakata started adding 4x4 palindromic synths in My Color, which is mature and also bubbly a perfect and deadly combination in electropop. Fushizen na Girl is a complete masterpiece and Nakata has really outdone himself with it, the way he put in kick snares and transmorphic pedalium beats is revolutionary, i really wouldn't expect someone who doesn't understand music to get this album.
>>32882574>>32882142>>32882083>>32882015>>32882026>>32882068>>32882177>>32882286ITT: Plebs
>>32882524>as 'complete best vol 2' because like i said they really have changed their sound from those days.I already said how it feels like a sloppy Compilation album because it's nothing but 3 years worth of singles/their b-sides slapped into an album. Complete Best was made as a last ditch effort to make enough sales for the Fan Service Sweet/Bitter projects which were the planned end for the group. Then Fan Service Sweet's Chocolate Disco had moderate success which got them a little song for a recycling ad CM and it was called Polyrhythm. Complete Best is a great compilation album out of necessity, JPN feels like "Singles: 2009-2011" which is why I jokingly called it "Complete Best Vol 2". It feels like a compilation album.>>32882574Fushizen na Girl was probably my favorite single of theirs until Spice came out. My problem with JPN is the album mixes of Laser Beam and Glitter and the pacing of the tracks feels off-key compared to GAME or even Triangle, I think Triangle has the absolute best opening to any of their albums with the flawless transition of Take off into Love the World, Dream Fighter and then Edge's album mix.I of course love JPN because I'm a Perfume but I think GAME will always be their high-water mark in terms of album-exclusive songs, pacing and overall style.
>>32882631*I'm a perfume fan
>>32882631YOU ARE THE BEST MAN !!!!!
>>32882619sbelP
>>32882631and now it's my turn to say again that i think that JPN is the most consistent of their albums. i do feel that the pacing feels off-key in JPN's beginning but after GLITTER the album really kicks in. the best part is how the album ends - from Kokoro no Sports to Spice - it's just perfect.
>>32882793Actually I think the ending of it goes from Fushizen na Girl to Spice and it feels really abrupt compared to GAME's ending.I don't know, maybe I'm just jaded but excluding Complete Best the JPN era had the largest number of singles, right? Fushizen/Voice/Nee/Laser Beam and Spice. Compared to Love the World/Dream Fighter/One Room Disco of the previous Triangle Era.3 singles in Triangle compared to 5 from JPN, every single one of JPN's singles including its b-side with the exception of Nee's FAKE IT, which was later added in to the global compilation and given its own music video. When I'm listening to JPN I get Single > Single > Single > Album Track > Album Track > Single > Single > Single > Single > Album Track > Album Track > Single > Singlecompared to Triangle I get Single > Single > Single > Album Track > Album Track > Album Track > Album Track > Album Track > Album Track > Single > Single. Doesn't that annoy you how 9 out 14 of JPN's tracks are singles? It just comes across as a single compilation to me.
>>32882902i don't really have that problem because i haven't lived through the single releases and the anticipation of any of their albums so my point of view is quite different from yours. i think you are letting the single releases affect your opinion of the albums too much. i really see consistency in JPN, i pretty much think of the album as sections that blend together, like the first three songs and the last four. from any of their other albums i don't get this feeling, they are pretty much just single songs after another songs. next week is going to be perfume week for me, maybe i'll realize something.
>>32883038Keep in mind I love the JPN era of singles, Spice, Fushizen na Girl and 575 are in my top 10 songs of theirs of all time. I just am not a fan of how much they're used to almost "pad out" the album itself. Glad to discuss these albums with someone as opinionated as me but I'm headed to bed, good night!
This hasn't been posted yet?
>>32883134yeah and i also love their whole discography, one album just stands out the most to me. sleep tight, fellow
>>328824340/10

>>32884064>what are 75% of the threads on this board
>>32881750That's because they pretty much used all of their quality songwriting on one album and peaked enormously to be followed by literally nothing of note.

>>32882553For what it is, it's damn good so I agree. My contriboot.
>>32884647I completely agree with you on both counts.I hesitate to use the word perfect, but this album approaches it as well as any other.
>>32882570Those are not even the lyrics.
