Musical obscurity actually has to do with the internal meaning of the music and not popularity. Music with darker subject matter is similarly lesser known for that reason. Especially little known music tends to be a replica of greater acts anyway. You've taken the hipster cred cliche too literally.

I have never been in this store before but I checked out their web catalog just now. They have some nice things but seem very overpriced for what looks like typical Chinese sweatshop clothes.
