I was listening to this the other day and while it was enjoyable I was astounded as to how average the musician ship was. It really was a cut below even Explosions in the Sky.
This album feels like it has a lot less filler than skinny fists, I can listen to it without feeling bored, every note seems like it has a meaning/purpose, or atleast moreso than skinny fists.

I prefer Skinny Fists. There were more "moments" for me on that one than F#A#. The preacher with the violins playing over him, the militant shouting, the fucking entirety of the monheim movement, they dont sleep anymore on the beach, etc.
