I just started listening to this, and I don't really get it. Why was there so much hype for it? There are a few decent tracks on here, but for the most part the album is just pretty boring, with really cheesy lyrics. I like District Sleeps Alone Tonight and This Place is a Prison, but not much else.

Is this album really the best that this kind of bedroom sad pop has to offer? I usually don't listen to stuff like this.

as far as bedroom pop goes, i like Diamond Rings more. even some early albums by The Antlers could constitute as such, I guess.
