am I the only one who thinks this is their best album? it's so dense and complex and easily one of their trippiest. songs like moonjock, new town burnout, monkey riches, and amanita will definitely end up among my favorite ac songs.

Is there a flac copy out yet?

nope the best are just eq'd stream rips still, which if anything is a testament to the quality of the songs.

I hated new town burnout

the rest is between 6 and 8 or 8.5

wtf why would you hate new town burnout it's so epic, and i don't use that word with music like ever.

Amanita is life changing.

Feels > Centipede Hz = Spirit They're Gone, Spirit They've Vanished > Campfire Songs > Strawberry Jam > Here Comes The Indian = Sung Tongs > Merriweather Post Pavilion > Hollindagain > Danse Manatee

But that's just like, MY OPINION MAN.

Centipede Hz is a 9.7/10 for me, would be a 10/10 if they replaced Pulleys with Honeycomb or if it actually had Crimson on the album. Amanita is my 3rd favorite AC song ever. So pumped on this album and I hate how no one discusses it because Pitchfork and Fantano haven't reviewed it yet.

Such a grower for me, was a bit disappointed at first, now I love it to bits. Definitely my AOTY.

totally agree, pulleys is the only weak link which is saying something because it's a great song. as much as I love amanita, crimson would have made such an epic closer.

do we have a mediafire link yet?

Amazing album. Definitely in top 3 AC albums, not sure if favorite yet. Definitely has the potential to be, want to hear it in FLAC first.

yeah I was a bit underwhelmed at first after waiting a year and a half for these songs but it's grown on me at a ridiculous pace. this albums got some serious hooks and they're in me deep.

I was really pumped for Rosie Oh / Crimson to end the album but I actually love Rosie Oh's placement now, it's really grown on me.

Crimson will probably be the B-side to Today's Supernatural or the next single, Brian said so in an interview.

And yeah, not a bad song on this album.

yeah I'm still hoping we'll get that one new panda song that was mentioned along with crimson.

Brian said all the songs they recorded were released "except that one we played live that didn't make it on the album" so I don't think they ever recorded it.

Dense and complexity isn't necessarily a good thing. And the 'alien transmission' theme or whatever, were so cheesy and not particually creative. I think most of the songs were great, but just tried too hard to be in your face and crazy and big loopy hooks etc etc, that along with the unneccasrily dense production, just comes across as quite annoying. But maybe it'll grow. And I'll wait for the better quality
