Death Grips or Kishi Bashi, have that, but haven't listened yet. Centipede Hz will beat them all out, though.

The Money Store was meh for me.
I really liked 151a, probably a strong 7 to light 8, but WIXIW is better. It's like Kid A but darker and more polished. Strong 8 for me. But yeah, I'm pumped for Centipede Hz.

I don't care what anyone thinks, the fusion of punk and hip-hop on this album is gold. The lyrics are great, and the production is fantastic.

Don't get me wrong Exmilitary is also gold, I just thought The Money Store was a little more focused. However I can see where people are coming from when they say they like Exmilitary more, as it is more raw and unrefined.

My top 5

5) Pop. 1280-The Horror
4) Portico Quartet-Portico Quartet
3) Nina Kraviz-Nina Kraviz
2) Zammuto-Zammuto
1) Julia Holter- Ekstatis

I gave Ekstasis the highest rating I've ever given since June 2010 with Oneohtrix Point Never's Returnal. 2011 had a lot of great albums, but none that I'd consider amazing.

I think it's kind of sad that this got such a big reaction here. I don't think it's bad, but compared to Exmilitary it's nothing special. Now when people come here and ask where to start with Death Grips or even with hip hop in general this album will come up way more than Exmilitary.

Exmilitary is one of my favorite albums though, like >>26120657 said, it's just a classic.
