Iron Road Studios isn't bad. It's new, but it's the damn near the only place to see any hardcore.

The only house I'm really familiar with is Alf House. Some great shows have gone down there. There are some alright ones in Abbotsford, but that's a different scene entirely.

Make some friends in the scene(s) quickly and you'll have no problem finding about all of the shows I guess. I'm pretty new to it all myself.

I was listening to Alvin Bands- Stanley Kubrick, and about 16 seconds in, the Steelpan instrument rolls in. I found it amazing that they used this instrument in this song which makes me love it even more. Does anyone know of other music with great hints of the steelpan instrument?
