How does one go about becoming a monetarily compensated rapper? Or, rather, how does one avoid ending up like every other buffoon aspiring to rap (embarrassing themselves)?

Also, if you are an amateur/aspiring rapper please post links to your stuff and give advice or tell us how you go about doing your thing.

I first heard of them on the the needle drop money store review and decided to check them out and watched beware and it didn't really click to me and I thought it was to weird but I ended up downloading Exmilitary to give it another try.And it still didn't click so I stopped listening to it for a while but Takyon, Lord of the Game, and Klink got stuck in my head and grew my interest until it ended up liking it.It kinda bugs that in Klink MC Ride is saying "minding my own business minding my own business" I thought he was saying "my mom is dead my mom is dead" so now it's a little awkward to listen to it.Am I the only one that thought this?Btw Klink is underrated
