i'm gonna be buying my first guitar tomorrow, and /fit/ recommended me buy an acoustic one but i wanted an electric because i live in a dorm and i want to be able to hook it up to my headphones since i don't want people hearing me practice late at night (or any other time), plus my cousin always plays an acoustic guitar and they seem gay. which one should i buy? how many strings should it have? how cheap can i go and still get a good guitar if it's used?
