>Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds – Let Love In (recced by AnonResident)
This album was nothing like the first two post-punk albums on my chart. This one was much slower and most of the songs had a creepier vibe. Nick’s voice was well-suited to the dark music and lyrics. A couple of the songs reminded me of Western movie soundtracks, which I thought was kind of cool. There were one of two duds but overall, I really enjoyed pretty much every song.

>Have a Nice Life – Deathconsciousness
This album was very interesting. The songs all sounded similar, but they managed to keep me interested. The heavy instrumentation and drowned-out vocals reminded me of Loveless from last week, but this time it was much darker. I really liked the singer’s voice, even when it was unintelligible and buried deep in the wall of distortion. My only real complaint is that some of the songs should have been a little shorter, because the album is a lot to take in one sitting.
