I was very, very excited to listen to this album and it did not disappoint. The guitars were massively distorted and completely envelop the listener. The vocals were buried in the mix almost to the point of being incomprehensible, but they were not really the focus of the music. Instead, the album’s heart was in the atmosphere it created and the way the instruments (including the vocals) blended together to create an infinitely layered incredibly fascinating wall of sound.
