I liked Be Here Now in my teens, I can see why people call it shit now, though.
If you skip like every second track or something, it's actually on par with their two first albums. The problem is mostly that it's way too long with no reasons for it, half the songs are uninspired and could be cut anyway. Other songs run for way too long, which adds a lot to the running time. My biggest problem with this is having the first three tracks occupy twenty fucking minutes, then you have the end where All Around the World feels like a logical bombastic ending, but it just goes on and on and on and it never fucking ends, but then you have another pointless fucking seven minute vanilla rock track right after it, which finally ends after what feels like an eternity with a decent length instrumental reprise of All Around the World. These stretches are long enough to be a complete album, but they aren't even the meat of the fucking thing.
