It didn't radically change me at the time, but looking back on it it did have a profound impact on me. One night, it was really late out and I had a long train journey home. I, at the time a complete pleb whos music library consisted of a few videogame OSTs and assorted Beatles songs, decided to try out this album I'd bought but not gotten around to listening to yet, Dark Side Of The Moon. I knew it was really famous, but had no idea what to expect, so I put it on.
The album lasted exactly as long as the remainder of my journey home (I remember getting off the bus by my house right as Eclipse ended) and that was basically the moment that got me listening to music as an actual hobby, rather than just a pastime.
