I think attaching morality to artistic value is a dangerous game. You can absolutely refuse to support an artist, and never pay for their music, share it with friends, etc. But to change your mind about an album's value once you know the concept behind it or the events that created it is to stand on shaky ground. There have been many, many bad, bad people who have made good art. People have literally gotten away with murder before during and after their music careers.
As a point of reference: there are people, to this day, who will not touch Lolita by Nabokov because their sense of morality will not allow them to. That's doubly silly, because Lolita is not a memoir, and it is not a book that lionizes pedophilia, but still.
