Thoughts on this EP? The spoken word opening is obviously emotionally devastating. I cried the first time I listened to it. With it being the first track however, it does feel like the band is fishing for Bandcamp sales. It's like the Hospice tactic of emotional manipulation. The instrumental portion of the track is pretty stale and lazy.
The rest of the EP is just awful. It's one of the most boring couple of emo songs I've ever heard. The vocals are hardly powerful, the guitars are tame and uninteresting, and the lyrics are nothing new. It's just all the same shit. If it weren't for the 10/10 spoken word performance, nobody would remember this.
