So, I have to drive a truck for work that doesn't have a CD player or anything, and I'm (reluctantly) listening to FM radio. I live in South Mississippi, so most of what I picked up while scanning through the stations was top40 and conservative political talk shows. And gospel music.
I eventually remembered that my local collge (MCC) has a college radio station, but when I tuned into it, they were playing 80's top 40. Turns out, that's all they play.
What's the radio like in your area? Have you got a favorite station? Have you ever found a station that plays underground or /mu/core music?
I'm thinking of calling into the college one and requesting some patrician stuff, just to see if they'll play it.
