The production not being clean is the whole point! It creates a human element of imperfection! It endears us to Jessica.
The lack of strong moments is caused by the entire album being the strong moment. Easy mistake to make. It's a breakup album, that's the theme you missed. The album is very deep, just Jessica's abstractness/unintelligibility can make that seem not the case.
