So im thinking about a nut replacement. The guy who had the guitar before me was all about LOWEST ACTION POSSIBLE and playing on a set of 8s I think he actually filed down the nut slots.
Here I come using 11-49 and theres just no bridge or neck adjustments I can make to stop the buzz.
What material should I get? I see a lot of people go for bone, but I like the idea of the ball bearing ones. Is it also worth trying myself, or should I just pay the guitar shop the $45 they charge for a nut replacement/setup?
