phil was probably going through some 'rough' times and this other person finally showed some feelings towards phil. the part where it say "the glow surrounds you" might mean the love and warmth that she finally started to share with phil. the last line basically means he immediately embraced her with open arms. the seconds song portrays how her 'glow' saved phil from freezing to death. "The Glow" further explains the love they had for each other. "i held on to her side"..."We found ourselves inside the light" etc. Karl Blau is an interesting song especially the last two line:
