The following is a series of etudes dedicated to objects. In case you were wondering, it still sounds weird as shit. The first etude is oriented towards 4-5 second sections of different sounds coming in and out of the space. Matches, whistles, springs, violins – you name it. The second etude is based on prolonged notes played by several instruments. Even though this one concentrates on how the sound expands gradually it still sounds very jagged. The third etude combines these. It’s all so precise, so measured out. The fourth etude works on more droney samples. The fifth one is more about cluttering different samples into one piece.
Le trièdre fertile is a 2 piece composition that seems to have much more of an electric sound imposition. It sounds like a drum machine, predating them by years. The second part of it goes into glitch (!!!) and drone. This guy is nuts. He revs up the track at the start to let in some pleasant ambient swools to take over the picture. Further on it starts turning into a drone piece with some futuristic synth sounds. It ends on an upward climb of noise. This one is a very beautiful track with a lot to explore. It’s the longest one on here too, 5 minutes long.
The closer is a short piano piece and it’s awesome! He shifts the effects on the sections and I have no idea how he does it. Listen to it! It’s really good and short! https://youtu.be/fV5depg1YMw
Onto the last volume.
