Even if they're similar-- which is mainly because many artists on those lists are at the forefront of alternative music that appeal to white males aged 18 - 22-- there are still major differences:
>no Mumford & Sons in sight for /mu/, let alone in the top 4
>no Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, RHCP, deadmau5, or Black Keys in sight for /mu/
>widely-acclaimed and thought-provoking music found on only /mu/'s side (MBV, BoC, Swans, Aphex Twin, Burial)
>the ones we do have in common appear much higher for the good (GYBE at #2 for /mu/, #29 for reddit) and much lower for the pleb (Muse at #28 for /mu/, motherfucking #2 for reddit)
