Is there an artist or band that you know excessive amounts of info about?

I know way too much about the strokes and each band member's family and history from the past 10 years.

I find it hard to believe that this photo was taken nearly 12 years ago.

Hip bands haven't changed at all.

What does /mu/ think of them?

So /mu/ im pretty new here and my favorite band is the strokes. I haven't seen much discussion of them as what I have seen is saying they're a bland velvet underground rip off, which I don't really mind but i was wondering what other bands i might like if i like the strokes? maybe some bands that share characteristics with them? thanks.

It's like no-one wants to hear how sincere the music could be anymore.
