Sludge Dredd by DJ Rozwell
track 1: 6/10
>opening track really pulls you in here. A lot going on in the background. the track is a bit short though.
track 2: 8.5/10
>great tone here, has a bit of a booming sound quality. at 00:51 some great high tones. production quality is really up there. the kind of track you really want to keep listening to after its over. towards the end some very noisy beats but in the best way possible
track 3: 8/10
> opens with a lot of vocal manipulation and noise and explodes into a section of whirling rising/falling tones. The production quality on these mixes is really amazing
track 4: 5/10
>unfortunately not as interesting as the previous tracks, but as an ambient interlude, it does its job well enough. Really not a stand out track though. Drum pattern later in the track suffers from having a generic tone.
track 5: 5/10
>opens with some hi-fi noise, the noise gate is a bit too open for my taste. more like a harsh noise track. if the volume level was pulled back a bit it would be better. also the song doesnt have time to go anywhere.
track 6: 5.5/10
>relaxed ambient piece here. some interesting instrument tones. a good track but nothing too special.
track 7:4.5/10
>suffers from mixing problems. the highs are not high enough and the lows are barely audible. overall not very interesting at all.
track 8: 4.5/10
>again mixing is off. I am starting to become a bit dissapointed considering the start of this album. at 00:30 it kicks up a bit again, which really saves the track but not by much.
track 9: 6/10
>noise gate too open right from the start. Some interesting tones going on though. around 00:40 it finally becomes more reminiscent of the beginning of the album.
